What if learning a new language felt more like play than school?
Our 10-week Elementary Spanish class introduces children to everyday conversational Spanish through songs, games, movement, storytelling, and hands-on activities led by a bilingual instructor. Instead of memorizing long vocabulary lists, children build confidence by hearing, speaking, singing, and using Spanish naturally in a joyful, encouraging environment.
This isn't a workbook-based language class. It's an interactive experience where children learn by moving, laughing, playing, and connecting with one another.
Here's what makes it special:
🇪🇸 Real language, taught naturally
Children will learn useful everyday words and phrases they'll actually use—greetings, colors, numbers, emotions, and simple conversations. Through repetition and play, Spanish becomes something they experience rather than simply memorize.
🎵 Music, movement & games
Young learners retain language best when they're actively engaged. Each class incorporates songs, movement, partner games, storytelling, and playful activities that make learning feel exciting and memorable.
🤝 Confidence through conversation
Learning another language can feel intimidating, so we create a welcoming environment where children are encouraged to participate without pressure. Every child is celebrated for trying, making mistakes, and growing in confidence together.

Every class includes Play Jungle admission, giving students time to play together before or after class while continuing to build friendships beyond the classroom. Some of the best conversations—and language practice—happen naturally during play.
💛 Small classes, meaningful connections
We intentionally keep our classes small so every child feels known, encouraged, and included. Over ten weeks, students build friendships while learning together in a relaxed, playful environment. This class will have a maximum of 10 students.
Whether your child has never heard a word of Spanish or already knows a few phrases, this class is designed to meet them where they are and help them discover the joy of learning another language.
Weekly Class Themes
Week 1: ¡Hola! Greetings, Introductions & Classroom Fun.
Week 2: Using different greetings for different times of the day, saying hello and goodbye, introduction to colors. Book read aloud.
Week 3: Saying please and no thank you, responding to questions. Learning a song together.
Week 4: Play-based review with songs and games.
Week 5: Ask "how are you" and reply, numbers and colors, learn a Spanish dance.
Week 6: Play-based review with songs and games.
Week 7: Other ways to respond to "how are you?", sing a song together with actions as we sing, imaginative play, learning the flags of Argentina, Chile and Paraguay.
Week 8: Play-based review with songs and games.
Week 9: Describe ourselves "estoy", emotions, culture: Machu Picchu described with Spanish words.
Week 10: Play-based review and classroom demonstration to parents/caregivers.
Enrollment includes Play Jungle admission with each class, giving children additional opportunities to play, connect, and strengthen friendships after learning together (a $200 value.)
When: Mondays (10-week session), August 17 - October 19, 2026
Class Time: 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM, 1:30 - 3:30 group play at Play Jungle
Where: Play Jungle, 11257 Alta Dr., Jacksonville, FL 32226
Who: Elementary-aged homeschoolers (generally ages 5–10)
Pricing: $250 per student (includes all instruction and Play Jungle admission each class)
