At Rooted & Rising, we believe learning isn’t just about books — it’s about connection, creativity, and community. Children need both roots and wings to thrive — and we’re here to nurture both.
Where Children Grow and Families Rise.

At Rooted & Rising, our mission is to cultivate deep roots of faith, knowledge, and character in children. We aim to create a thriving community where families can rise together through Christ-centered learning and connection.
Please reach us at Admin@RARhomeschool.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
At Rooted & Rising, we teach science, history, and art through a blend of literature-rich and hands-on learning. Our lessons are active, engaging, and designed to spark curiosity—no dry textbook-only lessons here!
Art is thoughtfully woven in to reflect what we’re learning in science and history each week, helping bring the subjects to life in a creative, memorable way.
We currently serve children ages 5 to 10, generally Kindergarten through 5th grade. Children are grouped by age for both instructional and play time.
Class starts on Tuesday, September 4th from 9 AM - Noon. We will meet for 30-weeks total, with time off for the winter holidays.
We will meet from September 9th until December 12th.
Yes. Rooted & Rising is a co-op, not a drop-off program. A parent or guardian must remain onsite at all times. You’re welcome to spend that time in fellowship with other parents or enjoy a quiet activity like reading, knitting, or relaxing. Your level of involvement will be very minimal.
Rooted & Rising will be divided into two groups: Lower Elementary and Upper Elementary.
We will enroll a maximum of 30 children total across both groups with a student-to-teacher ratio of 8-to-1. The exact number in each group may vary depending on enrollment, but each will be thoughtfully structured to support connection, engagement, and individualized attention.
Both groups will benefit from hands-on lessons, creative projects, and the care of dedicated teachers working together to create a joyful learning environment.
Yes! If you have children under the age of 5, you’re welcome to use the Nursery Room. Parents may take turns supervising younger children, though the nursery is not managed by Rooted & Rising staff.
Yes. We are a faith-based community rooted in Christian values. Our classes naturally incorporate a biblical worldview, and Thursdays include a short chapel time for reflection, worship, and encouragement.
We will meet for 27.5 weeks, or approximately 165 hours. No other curriculum or materials will need to be purchased. We are a Step Up for Students Direct Provider with UA and PEP scholarships.
We take a gentle, respectful approach to discipline. Children are encouraged to take responsibility for their actions and to treat others with kindness. If a child needs extra support, a parent may be asked to remain with them during class time.
Yes, you may choose to join for one day, but the pricing will be the same for materials and planning purposes. We believe that both our instructional and play-focused days are essential to the growth of the whole child. Rooted & Rising is also a parent-participation co-op, so adult presence is required.
Please let us know as soon as possible. This helps our teachers plan for the day and ensure adequate materials and supplies are ready. You will be given all materials for the week, so you can continue learning at home if you choose to do so.
This is your co-op! We welcome helping hands, ideas, and encouraging hearts. From classroom support to helping with art prep or setup, there are plenty of ways to bless the group with your presence and talents.

Enjoy the week. We will not have classes this week and will resume on Tuesday October 14th.
Happy Thanksgiving. We will not have classes this week and will resume on Tuesday, December 2nd.
Merry Christmas. We will not have classes until later in 2026.

Meet Tiffany Robins
Hi! I’m Tiffany — homeschool mom, community builder, and founder of Jax Teach. I have an MBA from West Virginia University and have worked in education-focused roles for organizations like Mayo Clinic, but my biggest passion is helping families find meaningful learning, lasting friendships, and joy in their homeschool journey.
Rooted & Rising was born from a desire to create something beautiful for our children — a space where faith, creativity, and connection are just as important as academics. I love quiet moments, quality time with my kids, and seeing families flourish together. I'm so glad you're here.
We will have several Open House opportunities soon. Details forthcoming.
